When the word cottage can seem inadequate for your holiday accommodation

£598 for three nights might seem a steep starting price for self-catering, but it depends what you get for the money. The Daily Mail sent a reporter off to explore the Landmark Trust's Tixall Gatehouse, and decided it was rather good value.
